Usage instructions-
- The dose and duration of Abevia N Tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor. You can have Abevia N Tablet with meals or without.
How it works-
Acebrophylline and Acetylcysteine are drugs in Abevia N Tablet. Acebrophylline is a bronchodilator with mucolytic effects that acts by relaxing muscles and expanding the airways of the lungs. Acetylcysteine is a mucolytic drug (cough/sputum thinner) that thins and loosens mucus in the lungs, windpipe, and nose. The acid mucopolysaccharide fibres in Abevia N Tablet is broken down, making the mucus (sputum) thinner and less dense/viscous, allowing coughing to effectively remove sputum. Sputum viscosity, on the other hand, stays low as long as therapy is continued. They work together to make coughing easier and breathing better by opening airways.
