Acedip 5 mg tablet belongs to a class of antihypertensive drugs used mainly to treat high blood pressure. High blood pressure is a disease in which the blood exerts high pressure on the walls of the blood vessels. In this condition, the heart has to work harder to pump blood throughout the body. High blood pressure can lead to serious health problems such as stroke, heart failure, heart attack and kidney failure.

How it works-
The blood vessels feeding the heart and other organs are relaxed. It increases the oxygen and blood flow to the cardiac muscle, which lowers the strain on the heart. - It lowers blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels, allowing blood to flow through them more readily.
- By increasing blood flow to the heart muscle and allowing it to receive more oxygen, it also treats chest discomfort.
- Amlodipine also increases a person's capacity for activity and maintains healthy blood pressure levels.
