Acolate LP 2.5mg/10mg Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of allergy symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, throat irritation, watery eyes, and nasal congestion or stuffiness. Acolate LP 2.5mg/10mg Tablet can be consumed with or without food and for the prescribed amount of time. Your condition and how you respond to the medication will determine the dose that is provided to you. Your symptoms could return and your condition could worsen if you stop your medication too quickly. Tell your healthcare team about all other medicines you are taking as some medicines may affect or be affected by this medicine.

How it works-

Levocetirizine and phenylephrine, which make up the two medications in the Acolate LP 2.5mg/10mg Tablet, are used to treat allergies-related runny nostrils and sneezing. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic that prevents the molecular messenger that causes runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing from doing its job. Decongestant phenylephrine causes the small blood vessels to constrict, temporarily relieving congestion or a blocked nostril.
