Adiff Gel belongs to the 'anti-acne' class of dermatological treatments used to treat acne (pimples) in patients aged 12 and up. Acne is a common skin ailment caused by clogged hair follicles with dead skin cells and oil. Acne-causing bacteria feed on sebum (natural oil generated by the skin), producing inflammation and redness.

Usage instructions-

• Adiff Gel is only for external use. Use as directed by your doctor for dosage and duration. Before using, read the label carefully. Apply the gel after cleaning and drying the afflicted area. Unless your hands are the afflicted area, wash your hands after application.

How it works-

Adiff Gel works by freeing the skin's surface cells and unclogging pores by lowering oil production in the skin. As a result, pimples, spots, whiteheads, and blackheads are reduced. Adapalene also stimulates the development of new skin cells and aids in the natural exfoliation (removal of dead skin cells) of the skin's outer layer.

Adiff Gel should be avoided during pregnancy. Although there have been few human research, animal studies have revealed some consequences on the growing baby.  Please consult your physician.

Adiff Gel is probably safe to breastfeed. There is limited human data to suggest that the drug poses no risk to the baby.
