Airtec SF 250 Capsule is a combination of Fluticasone and Salmeterol which belong to the group of medicines called corticosteroids and bronchodilators respectively. It is used to treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It also helps reduce flare-ups of COPD symptoms.

Asthma is a chronic respiratory disease in which your airways become inflamed, swollen and narrowed. It causes excessive mucus secretion in the airways that makes it difficult for air to pass through, causing unpleasant symptoms such as wheezing, difficulty breathing, chest pain, and cough. COPD is a lung disease characterized by chronic lung inflammation and obstruction of airflow within the airways. It causes wheezing, difficulty in breathing, cough with mucus production and chest pain.

How it works-

Fluticasone and salbutamol are the two medications included in the Airtec SF 250 Capsule. A corticosteroid for inhalation is fluticasone. It prevents the inflammatory and swollen-causing chemical messengers that cause prostaglandins and leukotrienes to be released into the airways. It is bronchodilator salmeterol. It expands the airways by relaxing the smooth muscles around them. Together, they ease breathing by reducing airway inflammation, improving airflow, and improving airflow.
