Aldactone 50 Tablet is a medicine called a diuretic that helps treat heart failure and high blood pressure. It helps reduce the swelling caused by some other conditions. This medicine also helps treat low potassium levels in the body. 

Take Aldactone 50 Tablet with food as prescribed by your doctor. The common side effects of this medicine include vomiting, nausea, swelling, dizziness, or tenderness of your breasts. Alcohol consumption can increase certain side effects and should be avoided.

If you have kidney problems or are unable to urinate, you should use Aldactone 50 Tablet with caution. Tell your doctor if you have ever had kidney, liver, or heart disease, or if you are pregnant before taking it. Inform your healthcare team of any other medications you are taking. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult their doctor before taking Aldactone 50 Tablet. You may be advised to limit your intake of salt or salt substitutes while taking this medication, and you should have your blood pressure checked on a regular basis.

Usage Instructions

Take Aldactone 50 Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. Make sure to swallow the whole tablet without chewing, crushing, or breaking it. You should take Aldactone 50 Tablet with food.

How It Works

Aldactone 50 Tablet is a potassium-sparing diuretic that lowers blood pressure and swelling by getting rid of extra water and electrolytes from the body without loss of potassium.

Safety Instructions- 

ALCOHOL

It is not safe to drink alcohol with Aldactone 50 Tablet.

DRIVING

Aldactone 50 Tablet may cause side effects such as decreased alertness, vision impairment, sleepiness, and dizziness. Avoid driving if you notice these symptoms.

PREGNANCY

Aldactone 50 Tablet may not be safe to use during pregnancy because it can harm the unborn baby.

BREASTFEEDING

Aldactone 50 Tablet is safe to use if prescribed during breastfeeding. This drug does not enter the breastmilk in a significant amount. Therefore, it is not harmful to the baby.
