A combo drug called Aldonil Plus Tablet SR is used to treat diabetic neuropathy. High blood sugar levels can cause nerve injury, which is known as diabetic neuropathy. Nerves in the legs and feet are the primary areas affected. Both type 1 and type 2 diabetic people commonly experience diabetic neuropathic pain.
Eplerestat and methylcobalamin are both ingredients in Aldonil Plus Tablet SR. Epalrestat prevents the buildup of sorbitol by blocking the enzyme aldose reductase, which catalyses the conversion of glucose to sorbitol. In diabetes patients, the buildup of sorbitol results in hyperglycemia, which in turn produces nerve pain. Methylcobalamin produces a substance called myelin, which aids in regenerating and defending injured nerve cells. Aldonil Plus Tablet SR works together to cure diabetic neuropathy.
Usage instructions-
- Read the pack carefully and use as directed by your doctor.
How it works-
Combining Epalerest and methylcobalamin, two medications used to treat diabetic nerve disease, together forms the Aldonil Plus Tablet SR. Aldose reductase inhibitor epelrestat. It prevents the buildup of sorbitol in cells, which is a factor in the development of diabetic neuropathy disease. A type of B vitamin called methylcobalamin aids in the creation of myelin, a substance that safeguards nerve fibres and repairs injured nerve cells.
