Allercet M Tablet belongs to the antihistamine or anti-allergic medication class. Allercet M Tablet is used to treat sneezing, runny nose, and allergic skin disorders caused by allergies and hay fever (seasonal allergy). An allergy is your body's immune system's response to a foreign substance that is often harmless to you. These alien substances are referred to as 'allergens.' Allergic reactions differ from individual to person. Some people are sensitive to specific foods, as well as seasonal allergies such as hay fever, pollen, or pet dander. Coughing is a common allergy symptom that occurs as a reflex motion in the throat when mucus or a foreign irritant enters the respiratory system.
Usage instructions-
- Use the Allercet M Tablet as directed by your doctor’s instructions. With food or without, you can take the Allercet M Tablet. Take it at a fixed time.
How it works-
Levocetirizine inhibits the function of a chemical compound (histamine) generated by your body that causes allergy symptoms. Montelukast inhibits the reaction of particular molecules (leukotrienes), which induce swelling in the airways and nose. As a result, the combination is useful in the treatment of allergy symptoms.

Allercet M Tablet comprises the anti-allergic medications Levocetirizine and Montelukast. An antihistamine (medication for allergies) called levocetirizine blocks the action of histamine, a chemical messenger that is typically linked to allergic reactions. It thereby relieves the symptoms of allergies, such as runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, itching, edema, congestion, or stiffness. As a leukotriene antagonist, montelukast, on the other hand, reduces inflammation and swelling in the nose and lungs to facilitate breathing by inhibiting the chemical messenger leukotriene. Together, they can cure a variety of allergy problems and lessen symptoms including runny nose, coughing, watery eyes, sneezing, and more.
