Alwiz 40 Tablet includes Azilsartan, which belongs to the class of drugs known as antihypertensives. Alwiz 40 Tablet is used to prevent hypertension (high blood pressure). Alwiz 40 Tablet is used either alone or in conjunction with other antihypertensive medications. Hypertension (high blood pressure) is the force that a person's blood exerts on the walls of their blood vessels. This pressure is determined by the resistance of the blood arteries and the amount of effort required by the heart.

Usage instructions-

• The dose and duration of Alwiz 40 Tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor. You can have this drug with meals or without.

How it works-

Alwiz 40 Tablet lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and making it simpler for the heart to pump blood. Azilsartan specifically inhibits the binding of angiotensin II to the angiotensin II type-1 receptor (AT1). Because it limits the pressor actions of angiotensin II, this receptor inhibition gives azilsartan's antihypertensive efficacy. Alwiz 40 Tablet counteracts this impact, lowering blood pressure.

Safety information-

Pregnancy

Alwiz 40 Tablet should be avoided during pregnancy. Although there have been few human research, animal studies have revealed some consequences on the growing baby.  Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding

Alwiz 40 Tablet is probably safe to breastfeed. There is limited human data to suggest that the drug poses no risk to the baby.

Alcohol

It is may cause excessive drowsiness to take alcohol with Alwiz 40 Tablet.

Driving

Due to low blood pressure, Alwiz 40 Tablet may cause dizziness or weakness. If you have any of these symptoms, do not drive.

Kidney

It is safe for people with kidney disease to take Alwiz 40 Tablet. You don't need to change your dose.

Liver

Alwiz 40 Tablet should be administered with caution to patients with liver issues. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult your doctor.
