Ambrodil Syrup 100 ml belongs to a group of medicines called "mucolytic agents" which are mainly used to treat short-term and long-term respiratory diseases accompanied by excessive mucus. Ambrodil syrup 100 ml is used to treat infection of the respiratory tract, infection of the voice box, inflammation of the trachea and chronic diseases such as chronic bronchitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. (COC).

 Ambrodil Syrup 100 ml contains ambroxol hydrochloride, which liquefies and releases mucus in the lungs, trachea and nose. Ambrodil Syrup 100 ml breaks down acidic mucopolysaccharide fibers and makes mucus thinner and less thick/viscous, effectively removing sputum by coughing. However, sputum viscosity remains low as long as therapy continues.

How it works-

AMBRODIL SYRUP works by facilitating mucus expectoration by breaking down acid mucopolysaccharide fibres and stimulating surfactant that prevents mucus adhesion to the bronchial wall, preventing mucus accumulation and providing clearance in the airway in affected individuals due to acute and chronic respiratory diseases.
