How It Works
Aptimust Syrup contains three medicines including cyproheptadine, tricholine citrate, and sorbitol, which helps revive appetite. Cyproheptadine stimulates the appetite. It works by inhibiting the action of a chemical messenger in the hypothalamus, a part of the brain that controls appetite. Tricholine citrate is a bile acid binding agent that helps eliminate bile acids in the body. As a result, the liver produces more bile acids using cholesterol, lowering cholesterol levels. Sorbitol functions as both a syrup base and an osmotic laxative to relieve constipation.
