Asar CT 80/12.5mg Tablet helps to prevent high blood pressure (hypertension) by relaxing blood vessels and improving the heart’s ability to pump blood around the body. Additionally, it removes excess water and electrolytes from your body.

Usage instructions-

• The dose and duration of Asar CT 80/12.5mg Tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor. You can have this drug with food or without.

How it works-

Asar CT 80/12.5mg Tablet is a combination of two blood pressure-lowering medications, Azilsartan medoxomil and chlorthalidone. Azilsartan medoxomil is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It acts by inhibiting the hormone angiotensin, which relaxes blood arteries. This permits the blood to flow more easily and the heart to pump more effectively. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic that eliminates excess water and electrolytes from the body. It also relaxes blood arteries and increases blood flow over time.

Safety information-

Pregnancy

Asar CT 80/12.5mg Tablet is not safe to use in pregnancy. There are human studies have shown adverse effects on the developing baby. Consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding

It is safe to breastfeed with Asar CT 80/12.5mg Tablet. According to human studies, the drug does not enter the breast milk in large amounts and is not harmful for the baby.

Alcohol

It may cause excessive drowsiness to take alcohol with Asar CT 80/12.5mg Tablet.

Driving

Asar CT 80/12.5mg Tablet may impair your alertness, impair your eyesight, or make you drowsy and dizzy. If you have any of these symptoms, do not drive.

Kidney

Asar CT 80/12.5mg Tablet should be administered with caution to patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult your doctor.

Liver
