The combination drug Asomex D 5 Tablet is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It can reduce the future risk of heart attack or stroke.
Usage instructions-
Make sure you take Asomex D 5 Tablet in the amount and for as long as your doctor tells you to. You can have this medicine with food or without.
How it works-
Amlodipine and hydrochlorothiazide, which successfully decrease blood pressure, are combined in Asomex D 5 Tablet. A calcium channel blocker called amlodipine relaxes blood vessels and improves the heart's ability to pump blood throughout the body. A diuretic, hydrochlorothiazide increases the volume of urine produced in the body to eliminate surplus water and certain electrolytes. It also helps to improve blood circulation over time by relaxing the blood vessels.

Pregnancy
Asomex D 5 Tablet is probably not safe to use in pregnancy. There are limited human studies, but animal studies have shown adverse effects on the developing baby. Consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding

Alcohol
