The combination drug Asomex OH Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure. Patients under the age of 18 are not eligible to utilise it. Asomex OH Tablet is also not suitable as initial therapy for hypertension. It is recommended to combine strict exercise and diet with Asomex OH Tablet for the best results.

Usage instructions-

• Make sure you take Asomex OH Tablet in the amount and for as long as your doctor tells you to. You can have this medicine with food or without.

How it works-

The three medications Olmesartan Medoxomil, Amlodipine, and Hydrochlorothiazide are combined as the Asomex OH Tablet. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB), while olmesartan medoxomil is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). Diuretics help lower blood pressure by widening and relaxing blood vessels. Hydrochlorothiazide, for example, causes urine to be produced to remove excess water and electrolytes. Over time, diuretics also improve blood circulation by relaxing blood arteries.

Pregnancy

Asomex OH Tablet is not safe to use in pregnancy. There are human studies have shown adverse effects on the developing baby. Consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding

Asomex OH Tablet is probably safe to breastfeed. There is limited human data to suggest that the drug poses no risk to the baby.

Alcohol

It is unsafe to take alcohol with Asomex OH Tablet.

Driving

Asomex OH Tablet may cause side effects that can affect your drive.

Kidney

Asomex OH Tablet should be taken with caution in people with kidney disease.  Asomex OH Tablet dosage adjustments may be required. Please consult your doctor.

Liver 

Asomex OH Tablet should be administered with caution to patients with liver issues. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult your doctor.
