Atarax 25mg Tablet helps treat anxiety and aid in providing relaxation prior to or after surgery. It is also used to treat skin allergies that cause itching, swelling, and rashes in conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis. This medicine contains hydroxyzine as the active ingredient.

Take Atarax 25mg Tablet with or without food exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Take it for the duration prescribed to you. Avoid taking this medicine for a prolonged duration.

The common side effects of Atarax 25mg Tablet include nausea, stomach upset, constipation sedation, and vomiting. Tell your doctor if your symptoms appear serious. Your doctor may suggest ways of reducing or preventing them. Avoid driving while using this medicine.

Make sure your doctor knows if you have high blood pressure, heart problems, or liver or kidney diseases prior to taking this medicine. Safety Instructions- 

ALCOHOL

Taking Atarax 25mg with alcohol is not safe and may lead to excessive drowsiness. It is best to avoid consuming alcohol while using this medicine.

DRIVING

It is not considered safe to drive while using Atarax 25mg as it may affect your vision, decrease alertness, or make you feel sleepy or dizzy. 

PREGNANCY

It is not recommended to use the Atarax tablet during pregnancy as it may cause harm to the baby.

BREASTFEEDING

Atarax 25mg Tablet is considered safe to use during breastfeeding. However, using it in higher doses or for a longer period of time may cause sleepiness and other side effects in the baby.
