Atorec F Tablet is a type of medicine that's used to treat high levels of cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood. Atorec F Tablet is a part of a group of drugs called antilipics, which are used to lower cholesterol and prevent heart disease and blockages in the blood. Hyperlipidemic is when you have high levels of LDL, or bad cholesterol, and low levels of HDL, or good cholesterol. If you have too much bad cholesterol, it can lead to heart attack and stroke later in life, especially if you have heart disease.

Usage instructions-

• Make sure you take Atorec F Tablet in the amount and for as long as your doctor tells you to.  You can have this medicine with food.

How it works-

Atorec F Tablet is a mixture of two lipids-lowering drugs that work together. The first is called Atorvastatin, which works by blocking the production of LDL cholesterol in the body. Fenofibrate, on the other hand, works by reducing triglyceride levels in the blood. Both of these lower LDL cholesterol, but they also raise HDL cholesterol.

Safety information-

Pregnancy

Atorec F Tablet is unsafe during pregnancy since there is clear evidence that it poses harm to the unborn child. Please consult your physician.

Breastfeeding

It is probably not safe to breastfeed while taking Atorec F Tablet. There is limited human data suggesting that the drug may enter breast milk and cause harm to the baby.

Alcohol

It is unsafe to take alcohol with Atorec F Tablet.

Driving

Atorec F Tablet does not affect your drive.

Kidney

Atorec F Tablet should be administered with caution to patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult to your physician.

Liver 

Atorec F Tablet should be taken with caution in people with liver problems.  Atorec F Tablet dosage adjustments may be required. Please consult your doctor.
