Atorica F Tablet is a member of the antilipemic medication class (drugs that decrease cholesterol and triglycerides) and is primarily used to treat high lipid levels (high cholesterol and triglycerides levels) as well as to avoid cardiovascular illnesses and blood vessel blockages. High levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL), or bad cholesterol, and low levels of high-density lipoprotein (HDL), or good cholesterol, are the hallmarks of the disorder known as hyperlipidemia, also known as hypertriglyceridemia. Particularly in people with heart disease, elevated levels of poor cholesterol raise the risk of heart attack and stroke in the future.

How It Works-

A lipid-lowering drug (statin), Atorica F Tablet. It functions by preventing an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) needed by the body to produce cholesterol. As a result, the amount of "good" cholesterol (HDL) is increased while "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides are decreased.

Safety information-

Pregnancy

Atorica F Tablet should not be used during pregnancy since there is clear evidence about harm to the developing infant. However, if the advantages outweigh the hazards, the doctor may seldom prescribe it in life-threatening conditions. Please consult your physician.

Breastfeeding

It is probably not safe to breastfeed while taking Atorica F Tablet. There is limited human data suggesting that the drug may enter breast milk and cause harm to the baby.

Alcohol

It is unsafe to take Alcohol with Atorica F Tablet.

Driving

Atorica F Tablet does not affect your drive.

Kidney

Atorica F Tablet should be administered with caution to patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult your doctor.
