Avil Injection 2 ml belongs to the "antihistamine" category, which is mainly used to treat allergic reactions. An allergy is a condition in which the immune system reacts abnormally to foreign substances such as pollen, dust mites, mold spores, food, pet dander, insect bites, and medications/drugs.
Avil Injection 2 ml contains pheniramine maleate, which blocks the activity of the chemical transmitter "histamine", which causes allergic reactions. Thus Avil Injection 2 ml treats allergic diseases.
