Bacstol Tablet is an antibiotic antifolate agent. It kills sensitive bacteria by inhibiting the operations of a dihydrofolate reductase enzyme, which is required for the creation of specific chemicals (folic acid) in the bacterial cell, which provides energy for development and multiplication. As a consequence, it keeps the germs from multiplying and the illness from spreading.
