How it works-
Bactoclav DS 457 Dry Syrup is used to treat bacterial infections. Amoxycillin is a penicillin that works by inhibiting enzymes that aid in the synthesis of an integral structural component of the bacterial cell wall, whereas Clavulanic acid is a beta-lactam (structurally related to penicillin) that works by inactivating an enzyme, beta-lactamase, preventing amoxicillin from being inactivated.

- The pathogenic microorganisms in multidrug-resistant TB generate an enzyme known as beta-lactamase. This enzyme degrades the antibiotics, rendering them useless. As a result, the bacteria develop resistance to the antibiotic being used to treat them. Bactoclav DS 457 Dry Syrup contains two active drugs: Amoxycillin and clavulanic acid. While clavulanic acid prevents the enzyme from rendering Amoxycillin ineffective, Amoxycillin acts to destroy the tuberculosis-causing bacteria. As a result, the combination of amoxycillin and clavulanic acid is a successful therapy for resistant TB.
- Bactoclav DS 457 Dry Syrup includes two medications, Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid, which work together to fight germs that cause illnesses. Amoxycillin acts by inhibiting bacterial growth. Bactoclav DS 457 Dry Syrup can be used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, including those of the ear, sinuses, throat, lungs, urinary system, skin, teeth, joints, and bones.
