Cepodem XP 100 Dry Suspention is a combination of cefpodoxime and clavulanic acid, which belongs to the group of cephalosporins and beta-lactamase inhibitors. Cepodem XP 100 Dry Suspention is used to treat mild to moderate infections in children such as ear, nose and throat infection, respiratory tract, urinary tract, reproductive infection, and skin infection.
Cepodem XP 100 Dry Suspention is not recommended for use in children who are allergic to cefpodoxime, clavulanic acid, and other cephalosporin antibiotics. It is also not recommended for use in children suffering from galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, and glucose-galactose malabsorption.

How it works-
Cepodem XP 100 dry suspension is a combination of two drugs: cefpodoxime proxetil and clavulanic acid. Cefpodoxime Proxetil is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective layer necessary for bacteria to survive. Clavulanic acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that reduces resistance and increases the activity of cefpodoxime proxetil against bacteria.
