CO2 Tablet is a combination of Cefixime and Ofloxacin from the antibiotics class of medications. CO2 Tablet is used to treat typhoid fever in adults (an illness caused by Salmonella typhi that causes high fever, stomach discomfort, headache, and diarrhea).  CO2 Tablet is also used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory tract (for example, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, and bronchitis), the middle ear (otitis media), the reproductive organs (gonorrhea), and the urinary tract.

Usage instructions-

• Swallow the CO2 Tablet whole with water; do not crush, break, or chew it.

How it works-

CO2 Tablet kills the invading bacteria, whereas Cefixime interferes with the formation of bacterial cell walls and causes holes in them, and Ofloxacin inhibits a bacterial enzyme involved in repairing and replicating bacteria's DNA (genetic material), rendering the organism unable to reproduce or repair itself.

It is advised to restrict alcohol consumption because it may cause side effects with CO2 Tablet.

Driving

CO2 Tablet may impair your alertness, impair your eyesight, or make you drowsy and dizzy. If you have any of these symptoms, do not drive.

Kidney

CO2 Tablet should be administered with caution to patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult your doctor.
