Cofsils Cough Syrup helps treat cough. It helps relieve allergy symptoms such as stuffy nose, runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, congestion and stuffiness. It also helps in thinning of the mucus in the windpipe, nose, and lungs, making coughing easier. 

You may take Cofsils Cough Syrup with or without food as prescribed by the doctor. The common side effects of this medicine include allergic reactions, coordination impaired, stomach pain, and thickened respiratory tract secretions. These side effects may usually resolve with time. However, make sure to consult your doctor if these side effects do not go away. 

Cofsils Cough Syrup may cause sleepiness and dizziness so avoid driving or doing anything that requires mental focus. Do not drink alcohol while taking Cofsils Cough Syrup as it may worsen the dizziness. Tell your doctor if you are suffering from liver or kidney disease before taking this medicine. Make sure to inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding before taking it.

Usage Instructions-

Take Cofsils Cough Syrup as prescribed by your doctor. It is recommended to measure the syrup with a measuring cup and take it orally. Shake the syrup well before use. You may take Cofsils Cough Syrup with or without food at a fixed time. 

How It Works-

Cofsils Cough Syrup is a cough syrup made up of three medicines: diphenhydramine, ammonium chloride, and sodium citrate. Diphenhydramine is an antiallergic drug that alleviates allergy symptoms such as runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Ammonium chloride is an expectorant that reduces the stickiness of mucus and helps in its removal from the respiratory tract. Sodium citrate is a mucolytic that thins and loosens mucus to make coughing easier.

Safety Instructions- 

ALCOHOL

It is not safe to drink alcohol with Cofsils Cough Syrup.

DRIVING

Cofsils Cough Syrup may impair your alertness, impair your vision, or make you sleepy and dizzy. Avoid driving if you develop any of these symptoms.

PREGNANCY

Using Cofsils Cough Syrup while pregnant is extremely dangerous. It is recommended to consult your doctor before taking this medicine during pregnancy as it can harm the developing baby.

BREASTFEEDING

It is not safe to use Cofsils Cough Syrup while breastfeeding. According to the data, the drug may be toxic to the baby.
