Cofstop A Syrup is a combination drug used to treat cough by encouraging the release of sputum (phlegm) by the airways (bronchi). It treats respiratory disorders like as upper respiratory tract infections, bronchitis (inflammation of the bronchial tubes), and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Chronic inflammatory pulmonary disease (COPD) is brought on by restricted lung airflow. An upper respiratory tract infection is a contagious illness that affects the nose, throat, pharynx, larynx, and bronchi and is brought on by bacteria or a virus.
Usage instructions-
- Read the pack carefully and use as directed by your doctor.
How It Works-
Four medications are combined in Cofstop-A Syrup: Ambroxol, Guaifenesin, Menthol, and Terbutaline. A mucolytic called ambroxol thins and loosens phlegm, making it easier to cough up. Guaifenesin, an expectorant, facilitates the removal of airway secretions from the airways by lessening the secretions' stickiness. Menthol is an organic substance that cools the body and eases minor throat pain. The airways' muscles are relaxed and made more permeable by the bronchodilator terbutaline. Together, they make breathing easier.

Expectorant (cough syrup) Cofstop A Syrup contains Ambroxol, Terbutaline, Guaifenesin, and Menthol. Ambroxol is a "mucolytic agent," which makes mucus less sticky and facilitates breathing, as well as "expectorant," which encourages sputum/cough output. As a bronchodilator, terbutaline opens and relaxes the bronchi, or airways, in the lungs. 'Expectorant' also refers to guaifenesin. It facilitates coughing by increasing mucus flow and decreasing the thickness or stickiness of bronchial secretions (phlegm). Menthol is a natural flavouring agent that cools the mouth and soothes sore throats.
