Colimex Suspension is a "spasmodic" agent that consists dicyclomine and simethicone which is used mainly to reduce spasms, and swelling of the stomach. Abdominal cramps are an acute condition in which the abdominal muscles, intestines and stomach are violently contracted. Abdominal cramps can be caused by muscle tension, dehydration, gas, inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, gastritis, pregnancy, constipation or other gastrointestinal issues.

How it works-
Colimex suspension is a mixture of two active drugs, the anticonvulsant dicyclomine, and the antifoam agent dimethicone. It stops sudden muscle contractions and thus relieves abdominal cramps and pain. The antifoam agent breaks the gas bubbles and allows the gas to pass through easily.

Colimex Suspension is a combination medication containing dicyclomine and simethicone and is primarily used for the relief of general lower abdominal discomfort associated with menstrual cramps, abdominal pain, swelling, and pain. Dicyclomine is an anticonvulsant, helps treat spasms and pain by relaxing muscles. It also blocks certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain, thereby relieving pain. Simethicone is an antifoam agent; it helps deal with bloating and releases gas more easily. Both together help reduce abdominal pain caused by cramping, and gas. Colimex Suspension is suitable for men and women.
