- Benefits
Colpep Suspension is a chemical that acts as "antispasmodic" (spasm and spasm reliever) and is mostly used to alleviate gastrointestinal pain brought on by cramps, spasms, and bloating. An acute ailment known as an abdominal cramp causes intense contractions of the stomach, intestines, and abdominal muscles. Muscle tension, dehydration, abdominal gas, inflammatory bowel illnesses (IBD) including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, gastritis (stomach inflammation), pregnancy, constipation, or other gastrointestinal infections can all contribute to abdominal cramps.

How It Works-
Dicyclomine, an antispasmodic agent, and dimethicone, an antifoaming agent, are two of the active ingredients in Colpep Suspension. Dicyclomine acts by calming the intestinal and stomach muscles. It puts an end to abrupt muscular contractions (spasms), which eases cramping and discomfort in the abdomen. While the antifoaming medication breaks down gas bubbles and facilitates simple gas transit.
The combination drug Colpep Suspension, which contains the antispasmodic dicyclomine and the foam-reducing dimethicone, is typically used to treat lower abdomen discomfort brought on by menstruation pain, cramping, bloating, and overall discomfort. As an antispasmodic, dicyclomine treats muscular spasms and discomfort by relaxing the muscles. Additionally, it prevents the brain from producing particular chemical messengers that trigger pain, hence reducing pain. As an anti-foaming agent, dimethicone helps alleviate bloating and facilitates the easier release of gas.
