How it works-

Consivas 10 Tablet is a statin that lowers cholesterol. This drug works by blocking the enzyme that helps your body make cholesterol. This means LDL (bad) cholesterol and triglycerides go down, while HDL (good) cholesterol rises.

Safety information-

Pregnancy

It is strongly advised that you consult your doctor if you are pregnant. Studies in pregnant women and in animals have shown serious adverse effects on the developing baby.

Breastfeeding

It is not safe to breastfeed with Consivas 10 Tablet. There is evidence that the drug might cause harm to the baby.

Alcohol

It is recommended to use Consivas 10 Tablet with caution when drinking alcohol. Please consult your physician.

Driving

Consivas 10 Tablet does not affect your drive.

Kidney

Consivas 10 Tablet should be administered with caution to patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult to your physician.

Liver 

Consivas 10 Tablet should be taken with caution in people with liver problems.  Consivas 10 Tablet dosage adjustments may be required. Please consult your doctor.
