Consivas F 10/160 Tablet is a double-acting lipid (fat) lowering drug. Consivas F 10/160 Tablet works by reducing cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood after lifestyle changes (e.g., low-fat diets) have failed. It reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Usage instructions-

• Make sure you take Consivas F 10/160 Tablet in the amount and for as long as your doctor tells you to.

How it works-

Fenofibrate and rosuvastatin are the two lipid-lowering medications included in the Consivas-F 10/160 Tablet. Fenofibrate reduces triglyceride levels in the blood, whilst Rosuvastatin stops the production of "bad" cholesterol (LDL) in the body. Both increase HDL, or "good" cholesterol level.

Safety information-

Pregnancy

It is strongly advised that you consult your doctor if you are pregnant. Studies in pregnant women and in animals have shown serious adverse effects on the developing baby.

Breastfeeding

It is probably not safe to breastfeed while taking Consivas F 10/160 Tablet. There is limited human data suggesting that the drug may enter breast milk and cause harm to the baby.

Alcohol

It is unsafe to take alcohol with Consivas F 10/160 Tablet.

Driving

Consivas F 10/160 Tablet does not affect your drive.

Kidney

Consivas F 10/160 Tablet should be administered with caution to patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult to your physician.

Liver 

Consivas F 10/160 Tablet should be taken with caution in people with liver problems.  Consivas F 10/160 Tablet dosage adjustments may be required. Please consult your doctor.
