How It Works
Cypon Syrup contains three medicines, including cyproheptadine, tricholine citrate, and sorbitol which stimulates appetite. Cyproheptadine is an appetite stimulant that works by inhibiting the action of a chemical messenger in the hypothalamus, a region of the brain that regulates appetite. Tricholine citrate is a bile acid binding agent that helps eliminate bile acids in the body. As a result, the liver produces more bile acids using cholesterol, lowering cholesterol levels. Sorbitol functions as both a syrup base and an osmotic laxative to relieve constipation.
