Irritable bowel syndrome, dyspepsia, duodenal and gastric ulcers, acidity, heartburn, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, Helicobacter pylori infection, and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) are all conditions that are treated with gastrointestinal medicines, which include Derek L Capsule. A mucous layer generally protects the stomach from acid. In certain circumstances, excessive acid production wears away the mucous layer, resulting in acidity.

How it works-
Derek L Capsule SR contains two medications: levosulpiride and rabeprazole. Increased release of the chemical messenger acetylcholine is how the prokinetic drug levosulpiride functions. Reflux (acid rising into the food pipe) is decreased and intestinal and stomach motility are both promoted. Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) include rabeprazole. It functions by lowering the amount of stomach acid, which helps to relieve acid reflux and ulcers.
