DFO 4X Gel includes Diclofenac, a medication of the Non-steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) class. DFO 4X Gel is used to treat pain and inflammation caused by muscle and joint injuries (sprains, strains, bruising, sports injuries, backache), tendonitis (tennis elbow), osteoarthritis (wearing down of flexible tissue at the ends of bones), swelling around the elbow or knee, or post-trauma.
Depending on the severity of your problem, DFO 4X Gel may be applied to the afflicted area 2 to 4 times per day. It should be applied carefully and evenly to the skin until it is massaged in. You should not apply it too frequently, and you should not cover the treated area with a bandage.
