A metabolic condition known as diabetes mellitus is typified by high blood sugar levels. Dibizide M Tablet is used to prevent type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults. Dibizide M Tablet consists of Glipizide and Metformin. When taken in conjunction with diet and exercise, glipizide is beneficial in managing low blood sugar levels. It increases insulin release from pancreatic beta cells while decreasing hepatic glucose output. It also has an extrapancreatic action by increasing insulin sensitivity in peripheral tissues such as muscle, fat, and liver cells. Metformin reduces blood glucose levels without boosting insulin production in a non-pancreatic manner. Because it amplifies the effects of insulin, it is also known as an insulin sensitizer. It is regarded as a novel anti-diabetic medication since it does not reduce blood sugar levels.
