The 'topical corticosteroids' class of eye drugs, including Diflucor Eye Drop 5ml, is used to treat inflammatory conditions following eye surgery. It is used to successfully treat eye inflammation brought on by infections, discomfort from allergies, iritis (inflammation of the coloured portion of the eye (iris), uveitis (inflammation of the central layer of the eye (UVA)), and eye damage. Difluprednate, a topical corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory characteristics that is present in Diflucor Eye Drop 5 ml, prevents the formation of molecules like prostaglandins that cause the red, swollen, and itchy eyes. It is used to relieve inflammation and discomfort in the eyes after surgery.
