Divret Tablet PR is used to lower excessive blood pressure as well as edema (swelling) and fluid retention brought on by heart conditions. Due to the increased potential of serious adverse effects, it should be taken with caution in individuals with severe renal disorders. While using this medication, regular monitoring of blood pressure and electrolyte levels is required. To receive the greatest results from this medication, patients are encouraged to follow a rigorous diet and exercise routine.

• Make sure you take Divret Tablet PR in the amount and for as long as your doctor tells you to.  You can have this medicine with food or without.

How it works-

Divret Tablet PR is a thiazide diuretic. By expelling surplus water and certain electrolytes from the body, it decreases blood pressure. Over time, it also improves blood flow by relaxing blood arteries.

Safety information-

Pregnancy

Divret Tablet PR is probably not safe to use in pregnancy. There are limited human studies, but animal studies have shown adverse effects on the developing baby. Consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding

It is probably not safe to breastfeed while taking Divret Tablet PR. There is limited human data suggesting that the drug may enter breast milk and cause harm to the baby.

Alcohol

It may cause excessive drowsiness to take alcohol with Divret Tablet PR.

Driving

Divret Tablet PR may impair your alertness, impair your eyesight, or make you drowsy and dizzy. If you have any of these symptoms, do not drive.

Kidney

Divret Tablet PR should be taken with caution in people with kidney disease.  Divret Tablet PR dosage adjustments may be required. Please consult your doctor.

Liver 

Divret Tablet PR should be administered with caution to patients with liver disease. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult to your doctor.
