Dolopar-Mds Suspension belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, which are used to treat pain, inflammation, migraine headache, menstrual cramps, heavy menstrual bleeding, muscle pain, toothache, joint pain, pain after surgery, earache, fever, flu, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system that causes unpleasant sensations in the body.

Dolopar-Mds Suspension contains two drugs, mefenamic acid, and paracetamol. Dolopar-Mds Suspension blocks the activity of a chemical messenger known as cyclooxygenase (COX) enzyme, which produces other chemical prostaglandins. By inhibiting the activity of COX enzymes, fewer prostaglandins are produced. It helps reduce pain and inflammation in the injured part.

How it works-

Dolopar-Mds Suspension relieves fever and pain by acting on the hypothalamus of the brain, resulting in peripheral vasodilation, sweating, and loss of body heat, as well as increasing the pain threshold by inhibiting COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes. Mefenamic acid inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes involved in the synthesis of prostaglandins.
