Duobrom Eye Drops 5ml are ophthalmic eye medications that are generally used to treat bacterial eye infections in individuals who have undergone cataract surgery as well as to lessen eye irritation. A typical bacterial eye infection known as conjunctivitis (pink eye) is characterised by inflammation or infection of the conjunctiva (the white area of the eye) and the inner eyelid. After cataract surgery, it's typical for people to have ocular edoema, which causes their eyes to expand and get red.
Usage instructions-
- Read the pack carefully and use as directed by your doctor.
How it works-
as order to treat eye infections, Bromfenac and Moxifloxacin are combined as Duobrom Eye Drops (BAK Free). A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID) is bromfenac. It functions by preventing the production of certain chemical messengers that are responsible for the eye's discomfort and inflammation (redness and swelling). Antibiotics include moxifloxacin. It kills bacteria by preventing them from multiplying and regenerating.

- A combination of two medications, Bromfenac and Moxifloxacin, known as Duobrom Eye Drops 5ml, is used to treat bacterial eye infections and to lessen eye inflammation following adult cataract surgery.
- Bromfenac is a member of the group of medications known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (pain relievers) that prevent the body's cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes from producing prostaglandins and other chemicals that cause pain and inflammation.
- This helps to reduce swelling and discomfort following cataract surgery.
- A broad-spectrum antibiotic called moxifloxacin works against both gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria that grow aerobically (with oxygen present) and anaerobically (without oxygen present).
- When bacteria repair and replicate DNA (genetic material), an enzyme called DNA gyrase is inhibited.
- Burning sensation in eye
