Ecoglip T Tablet is an "anti-diabetic" medication that is primarily used to treat type 2 diabetes, particularly in those whose sugar levels are too high and cannot be managed by diets and exercise. Ecoglip T Tablet is used to reduce blood sugar levels alone or in conjunction with other medications. People with type 2 diabetes either don't create enough insulin or the insulin they do make is incapable of performing its role in the body (insulin resistance). Type 2 diabetes, commonly known as adult-onset diabetes, is most common in people in their forties and fifties.
Usage instructions-
- Use Ecoglip T Tablet according to your doctor’s instructions. With food or without, you can take the Ecoglip T Tablet. Take it at a fixed time.
How it works-
Ecoglip T Tablet includes Teneligliptin, a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor used to treat type 2 diabetes when diet and exercise alone are insufficient to regulate blood sugar levels. It acts by inhibiting DPP-4 (an enzyme that degrades the hormone 'Incretin'). The 'Incretins' enzyme helps the body produce more insulin when needed and reduces hepatic blood sugar levels when they're not needed.
Ecoglip T Tablet should not be used to treat diabetic ketoacidosis or in people with type 1 diabetes. Thus, Ecoglip T Tablet plays an important role in managing blood sugar levels and preventing major diabetes problems such as vision loss (retinopathy), kidney damage (nephropathy), nerve damage (neuropathy), diabetic foot ulcer, and delayed wound healing.

- Ecoglip T Tablet belongs to a class of drugs known as DPP-4 inhibitors (or gliptins). Ecoglip T Tablet aids in increasing the amount of insulin produced by your body after a meal and preventing your body from releasing too much glucose (sugar) into your blood. Ecoglip T Tablet decreases your blood glucose levels in this manner.
- Managing blood glucose levels is an important element of type 2 diabetes management. If you can keep the level under control, you will be less likely to develop major diabetic consequences such as kidney damage, blindness, and limb loss. Diabetes management can also lower the risk of heart disease and stroke.
