Emilap Trio 10 mg/500 mg/100 mg Tablet is a triple combination of three anti-diabetic drugs: Dapagliflozin, Metformin, and Sitagliptin. Dapagliflozin increases urine glucose excretion and lowers blood glucose. Metformin reduces the amount of glucose that you absorb from food and the amount that your liver produces. Metformin increases the body’s response to insulin, which is a naturally occurring substance that regulates blood glucose levels. Sitagliptin works by increasing the levels of incretins in the body. These incretins trigger the release of insulin by your pancreas. When your blood sugar is too high, your liver tells your body to stop producing sugar.
