Epalrica M Tablet SR is a combination of two medications that treat diabetic nerve disease: epalrestat and methylcobalamin. Epalrestat is a drug that inhibits aldose reductase. Methylcobalamin is a vitamin B derivative that aids in the formation of myelin, a material that protects nerve fibers and regenerates injured nerve cells.
