Epitop 50 Tablet belongs to a class of medications known as "antiepileptic (AED)/anticonvulsant agents" and is used to treat epilepsy (both monotherapy and adjunctive therapy). Epitop 50 Tablet can also be used to prevent migraines. Epilepsy is a chronic illness that causes spontaneous, recurring seizures in the body. A seizure is a sudden brain assault that causes a person to lose control of their activities. Migraine is a mental condition characterized by severe or incapacitating headaches, trouble speaking, nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light or sound. Epitop 50 Tablet treats Lennox–Gastaut syndrome [is a form of epilepsy that developed in early childhood].
Usage instructions-

How it works-
Epitop 50 Tablet inhibits sodium channels in the body, which provide electrical impulses to excitable cells including nerve, muscle, and brain cells. It can enhance the activity of a chemical messenger in the brain that regulates seizure frequency. Epitop 50 Tablet also inhibits nerve cells in the brain from delivering incorrect signals, which can cause migraine headaches.

Breastfeeding

Alcohol
It is not safe to take alcohol with Epitop 50 Tablet.
Driving
Epitop 50 Tablet may impair your alertness, impair your eyesight, or make you drowsy and dizzy. If you have any of these symptoms, do not drive.

Epitop 50 Tablet is an antiepileptic (AED) medication used to treat epilepsy as monotherapy or as supplementary therapy, as well as migraine. Epitop 50 Tablet is recommended for patients over the age of 2 who have partial-onset or primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures. Epitop 50 Tablet is recommended for patients 2 to 16 years of age with partial-onset seizures or primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures, while Epitop 50 Tablet is recommended for patients older than 2 years of age with seizures associated with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS). Epitop 50 Tablet is recommended for migraine prevention. The mechanism of action of Epitop 50 Tablet is to block voltage-dependent sodium and calcium channels while boosting the inhibitory effects of GABA. Epitop 50 Tablet is used to treat epilepsy.
