Euthyrox 100 Tablet is generally used to treat hypothyroidism or decreased thyroid hormone production. It contains thyroxine, a synthetic thyroid hormone that is chemically identical to the hormone generated by our thyroid gland. Thyroxine aids in the replacement of thyroid hormone or the relief of thyroid gland stress.

How it works-

Thyroxine is a synthetic thyroid hormone that is similar to the thyroid gland's naturally occurring thyroid hormone thyroxine or T4. Thyroxine regulates the synthesis of another hormone known as thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), which in turn affects the amount of thyroxine produced. Levothyroxine sodium works in the same way as thyroid hormone to control TSH production and so compensates for a shortage of endogenous thyroxine (made by the thyroid gland).
