Exafib 2.5Mg Tablet is a medicine that blocks a substance in the blood that is involved in clotting. It does not "dissolve" blood clots, but it prevents them from getting bigger, allowing your body to dissolve them. It also prevents new blood clots from forming. It works by blocking the blood clotting process, allowing your blood to circulate freely around your body. This reduces the risk of a clot forming inside a blood vessel, which can lead to stroke, pulmonary embolism, or thrombosis. It also reduces the risk of parts of a clot breaking off and travelling to other parts of your body.
