Fastclav 500 Tablet is an antibiotic that is used to treat bacterial infections such as pharyngitis/tonsillitis (throat infections), otitis media (ear infections), sinusitis (sinus infection), gonorrhea (sexually transmitted disease), Lyme disease, septicaemia (bloodstream infection), meningitis (brain and spinal cord inflammation), lower respiratory tract, skin, urinary tract, bone, and joint infections.

Usage instructions-

• The dose and duration of Fastclav 500 Tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor. You can take Fastclav 500 Tablet with meals or without.

How it works-

Fastclav 500 Tablet contains the active drugs cefuroxime and clavulanic acid. Cefuroxime is an antibiotic that prevents the production of a protective coating on bacteria, which is required for life. Clavulanic acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that acts by decreasing resistance and increasing cefuroxime's antibacterial effectiveness.

Breastfeeding

It is safe to breastfeed with Fastclav 500 Tablet. According to human studies, the drug does not enter the breast milk in large amounts and is not harmful for the baby.

Alcohol

It does not cause any harmful side effects to take alcohol with Fastclav 500 Tablet.
