Femoston 2/10 Tablet is a hormone replacement treatment medication. Femoston 2/10 Tablet is a mixture of female sex hormones that aids in the relief of postmenopausal symptoms such as hot flushes, vaginal dryness, and discomfort.

Usage instructions-

• The dose and duration of Femoston 2/10 Tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor.  You can have this drug with food or without.

How it works-

Femoston 2/10 Tablet is a combination of two hormone replacement treatment (HRT) medications: Estradiol and Dydrogesterone. Estradiol works by replenishing the body's declining oestrogen levels, which helps to alleviate the painful symptoms of menopause. It may, however, harm the uterine lining (endometrium) and raise the risk of endometrial cancer. Dydrogesterone is given to counteract Estradiol's damaging effect on the uterine lining and lower cancer risk.

Pregnancy

Using Femoston 2/10 Tablet during pregnancy is extremely dangerous. Seek the counsel of your doctor, as research on pregnant women and animals have revealed considerable risk to the growing infant.

Breastfeeding

It is not safe to breastfeed with Femoston 2/10 Tablet. There is evidence that the drug might cause harm to the baby.

Alcohol

It is recommended to use Femoston 2/10 Tablet with caution when drinking alcohol. Please consult your doctor.

Driving

Femoston 2/10 Tablet does not affect your drive.

Kidney

Femoston 2/10 Tablet should be administered with caution to patients with kidney issues. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult your doctor.

Liver
