'Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication' (NSAID) is the generic name for the medicine class that includes Flexon MR Tablet. Flexon MR Tablet is used to treat edema (tissue swelled with fluid), post-surgical swelling, and musculoskeletal discomfort and muscle spasm caused by tissue damage. Acute pain is transient, but chronic pain is ongoing. Injury to soft tissues (muscles, tendons, or ligaments) can result in musculoskeletal discomfort. After sprains, strains, trauma, or surgery, excessive tissue pain and edema may persist for a prolonged time before healing.

How it works-

Ibuprofen, paracetamol, and chlorzoxazone are the two painkillers included in the Flexon MR Tablet. The way that painkillers function is by preventing the brain's chemical messengers from causing pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). To reduce muscular stiffness or spasm and enhance muscle action, a muscle relaxant acts on brain and spinal cord centres.

Pregnancy

Flexon MR Tablet is probably not safe to use in pregnancy. There are limited human studies, but animal studies have shown adverse effects on the developing baby. Consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding

Alcohol

It is unsafe to take Alcohol with Flexon MR Tablet.

Driving

Flexon MR Tablet may cause side effects that can affect your drive.

Kidney

Flexon MR Tablet should be administered with caution to patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult your doctor.

Liver 

Flexon MR Tablet should be taken with caution in people with liver problems.  Flexon MR Tablet dosage adjustments may be required. Please consult your doctor.
