How it works-

Fluvir Oral Suspension inhibits neuraminidase. It inhibits neuraminidase (an influenza virus enzyme), which allows viruses to enter uninfected cells of the body and produce or spread influenza illness. This is how it fights the virus and treats influenza (flu).

Pregnancy

Fluvir Oral Suspension is probably not safe to use in pregnancy. There are limited human studies, but animal studies have shown adverse effects on the developing baby. Consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding

Fluvir Oral Suspension is probably safe to breastfeed. There is limited human data to suggest that the drug poses no risk to the baby.

Alcohol

It is not known whether it is safe or not to take alcohol with Fluvir Oral Suspension.

Driving

Fluvir Oral Suspension does not affect your drive.

Kidney
