Gaba Hosit Tablet is a combination medication that is used to treat neuropathic pain. Gaba Hosit Tablet reduces pain by regulating the calcium channel activity of nerve cells.
Usage instructions-
- Use Gaba Hosit Tablet as directed by your doctor. You can have this medicine with food or without.
How it works-
Gaba Hosit Tablet contains two medications: gabapentin and methylcobalamin. Gabapentin is an alpha 2 deltas ligand reduces pain by altering nerve cell calcium channel function. Methylcobalamin is a vitamin B derivative that helps to produce myelin, a substance that protects nerve fibres and regenerates damaged nerve cells. They work together to alleviate neuropathic pain (pain caused damaged nerves).
Safety information-
Pregnancy
Gaba Hosit Tablet is maybe not safe to use in pregnancy. There are limited human studies, but animal studies have shown adverse effects on the developing baby. Talk to your doctor.
Breastfeeding
Gaba Hosit Tablet is probably safe to breastfeed. There is limited human data to suggest that the drug poses no risk to the baby.
Alcohol
It may cause excessive drowsiness to take alcohol with Gaba Hosit Tablet.
Driving
Gaba Hosit Tablet may impair your alertness, impair your eyesight, or cause you to feel tired and dizzy. If any of these symptoms appear, do not drive.
Kidney
Gaba Hosit Tablet should be taken with caution in people with kidney disease. Gaba Hosit Tablet dosage adjustments may be required. Please consult your doctor.
Liver

The Gaba Hosit tablet is a combination of medicines used to treat chronic (long-term) pain due to diabetic nerve damage or shingles (spinal cord injury) and pain associated with mood changes, sleep problems, and fatigue. It is considered to act by interfering with pain signals sent by injured nerves to the brain.
