A combination of anti-diabetic medications called Glucoryl-MV 2 Tablet SR is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus. Type 2 diabetes, a chronic or lifelong condition, alters how your body utilises glucose. Insulin is either not created in sufficient amounts or, when it is, it cannot perform its function in the body (insulin resistance) in people with type 2 diabetes. Blood sugar levels increase as a result, leading to symptoms including frequent urination, increased thirst, and increased hunger.

How it works-

The three anti-diabetic medications glimepiride, metformin, and voglibose are combined as the glucoryl-MV 2 Tablet SR. When single or dual treatment is ineffective, they function through several methods to give improved blood sugar management. In order to reduce blood sugar, the sulfonylurea glimepiride increases the quantity of insulin the pancreas releases. Glucose synthesis in the liver is reduced by the biguanide metformin, which also raises the body's sensitivity to insulin and slows the absorption of glucose from the intestines. A substance called voglibose, an inhibitor of alpha-glucosidase, prevents the conversion of complex sugars into simple sugars like glucose. As a result, after eating, blood sugar levels don't spike very high.
