In diabetic individuals who do not respond well to Metformin alone, this drug improves glycemic control. Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a long-term issue in which blood sugar or glucose levels grow above normal. It happens when the body does not create enough insulin (which metabolizes glucose) or when the insulin produced is ineffective in the body.
