Glytrin Met 1000 Tablet belongs to a class of drugs known as 'antidiabetic agents,' which are used to treat Type 2 diabetes mellitus. In diabetic individuals who do not respond well to Metformin alone, this drug improves glycemic control.  Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a long-term issue in which blood sugar or glucose levels grow above normal. It happens when the body does not create enough insulin (which metabolizes glucose) or when the insulin produced is ineffective in the body.

Usage instructions-

• Glytrin Met 1000 Tablet is used as directed by your doctor. With food, you can take Glytrin Met 1000 Tablet.

How it works-

Glytrin Met 1000 Tablet contains two diabetes medications, Metformin and Teneligliptin. It works by raising insulin synthesis, which helps to restore your body's proper insulin response, particularly in muscle and fatty tissues, decreasing your increased blood sugar levels.

Safety information-

Pregnancy

Glytrin Met 1000 Tablet is probably not safe to use during pregnancy. There are limited human studies, but animal studies have shown adverse effects on the developing baby. Consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding

It is probably not safe to breastfeed while taking Glytrin Met 1000 Tablet. Limited human data suggests that the drug may enter breast milk and cause harm to the baby.

Alcohol

It is not safe to take alcohol with Glytrin Met 1000 Tablet.

Driving

It is not known whether it is safe or not Glytrin for Met 1000 Tablet in terms of driving. You should consult your doctor.

Kidney
