Glytrin Met Tablet ER is a combination of Metformin and Teneligliptin, both of which are anti-diabetic medications. Glytrin Met Tablet ER is used to treat type II diabetes mellitus in people when diet, exercise, and other traditional medications do not result in sufficient blood glucose control.
Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a chronic condition characterized by unusually high blood glucose levels. It is caused by insufficient synthesis of the hormone insulin (made by the pancreas to metabolize glucose) in the body or by insufficient sensitivity of body cells to the activities of insulin.
